Born to be Wild

Out now on Apple TV is this lovely series, Born to be Wild, narrated by Hugh Bonneville and scored by me. Each of the six episodes feature different endangered animals over several years as they grow up in the human world and prepare to return home to the wild. It’s cute, cuddly, emotional and life-affirming, and will make perfect viewing for the whole family!

I was helped out by Mark Russell and Dom James who wrote additional music on the series – huge thank you to them. Also to soloists Flora Curzon (violin) and Nick Holland (cello), to orchestrator Alec Roberts, to my assistant Sam Storey, and to the Fames Orchestra in Macedonia.

I’m really happy with the music I wrote for this series and pleased that the soundtrack album is out now on all the usual platforms. In a first for me, the OST also comes out in Dolby Atmos format for a more immersive listening experience.

Thanks to the producers and directors on the film from Offspring Films and Tailfeather for bringing me on board, and to AppleTV for once more inviting me to work on one of their brilliant shows.
