David recently set up a Myspace site where you can listen to and download a few songs. The lyrics to most of David's songs are now viewable on this website. Click here to see the complete list.

The Tate Gallery recentlyreleased 'ArtSongs' - a CD of 10 songs about art and artists by Agnes & Aubrey (of which David is a half). They should be available in the shops of any of the Tate Galleries, or can be ordered online here. The wonderful designs (the CD includes a 24 page booklet) were done by the wonderful Jim le Fevre. You can listen to some tracks here.

David is currently working on a new album of songs. His first three mini-albums are still available.

Bats includes seven songs andfeatures the instrumental talents of many of David's regular collaborators. The cover design for Bats is, once again, by Mike Ralph who also designed this site, so many thanks to him. You can hear clips of songs from the CD right now.

MISC

Last year, David remixed one movement of Gabriel Prokofiev's excellent String Quartet No 1. A CD featuring the original recording plus five remixes, including my own, is now available from most good record stores, including this one. You can also listen to a clip of David's remix here.

Here are some extra little songs not available on CD. Many more of David's lyrics can be found, by looking at the gigs section of the site. I'll also post the new Newsnight songs here in due course... In the meantime they should be available here.

"This song was commissioned by film maker Jonathan Levitt for his excellent feature documentary, Sunny Intervals and Showers. Depsite being about manic depression, the film is far from bleak, and you should definitely go see it if you get the chance."

David says about these songs:
"This pair of little songs was written for a bizarre interactive game called 'Double Up' designed by an old friend of mine, Phoebe Jenkins, and a couple of her friends. The first song was meant to explain the rules, while the second was the reward for completing the level. The game involved trampling around on a magic beanbag triggering sounds and images. It was good fun, but pretty confusing to be honest, and made no less so by the camp songs I wrote for it."
