Caroline works as a babysitter, and during the day all is under control, but everything changes when it gets dark.
I worked with Jan on a few projects while we were at the National Film & Television School, and Babysitting was his graduation film. There are definite shades of his one of his idols, David Lynch, in this spooky drama. He has moved more towards realism in some of his later projects, such as Little Scars, although he definitely retains an interest in the macabre side of human nature.
