i put the coffee on and try to write a song
once in a while come out with a tune

this song goes out to you big earners
making over fifteen grand a year

i’m educated, middle class and i’m sponging off the state

so won’t you help me to help our troubled nation
i want to give back what i owe
when i’m making stacks i’ll be sure to pay my tax
