LITTLE LAMB (Fifteen Famous Minutes)

little lamb, little lamb,
little lamb who made thee
what with your coat so sheep and whitey?
little lamb, little lamb
i’m so glad that i’m not you
we loved you in spring,
but by summer forgot you
you came back in autumn
just a little less frisky
dressed now in gravy with no coat white and sheepy

what is the reason for being so being so perky
when you have only reasons for not being perky?
the games that you play are the games of delusion
your old mutton mother has reached this conclusion

little lamb, little lamb
little lamb who ate thee?
i fear that the person in question was me
so will you accept this humble apology?
i guess you’ve no choice now that you’re inside me

la de da, la da daa
your fifteen famous minutes
la da daa
just fifteen minutes of fame
little lamb
