IF YOU WERE
if you were a little cold i
would be a little fire
and with my little flames i’d warm your bones
if you were a pension
i’d be ready to retire
just so i could claim you as my own
and if you were a river
i would be the sea
so that you would keep on running into mecos wherever you go i’ll go with you
and whenever you change i’ll change too
and if you get bored of having me around
i’ll become somebody newif you were a mountain
i would be the mist
clinging to your side all through the night
and if you were a notebook
i would make a list
of every little thing i know you like
if you were the rain i
would be a paper cup
and it wouldn’t take you long to fill me upwherever you go i’ll go with you
and whenever you change i’ll change too
and if you get bored of having me around
i’ll become somebody new
